In case you missed it

I thought of making a linked exhibition list, but never mind - go here. The top six drawings (starting at Two Cats Playing) and nine paintings (all images down to Hostess) comprise the show, which was attended by a flood of people who responded postively almost to a one. Thanks to all who came by.

I was at the opening
Great show!.

It was a surprise to see the work in person because
when you posted the work a few weeks ago I had a completly different impression. I thought at the time the work would be better in larger scale I see now I was wrong the more intamite scale of the work made them more personal.

I also like the delicate texture of each work.

The sumi brush work was a nice compliment
I loved "Attack"

Franklin, did you move to the area around Richmond ? If yes, maybe you go and see this fine collection one day:

Should be in your area.

Franklin it was good to talk with you about the new work. I agree that seeing them in person allows for one to observe how evenly the surfaces where painted. My personal favourites where the hoizontals on the long wall because of the complex composition arangements. I was explaining to Julie Pimentel today about the inclusion of the fire hydrant as an important spacial consideration in the cafe painting with the purple-haired woman. My pick. Over all the show was jovial, objective, and colorful.
