artblog.net plans your weekend for you

First, you go to Tachmes to see Jordan Massengale's show on Saturday. Then, over to Locust, because platforming sounds bogus but you have to see it to be sure. To make yourself feel better, you check out Quiet, one night only at 217 NW 36 Street in Wynwood, next to the old Objex space, curated by Jordan, who is having a busy weekend, and Chris Meesey. Before you leave 23rd Street, though, you have a look at Ingalls, who is showing my old EHP classmate Peter Barrett. Lynne Gelfman is up at Snitzer. If Kevin Bruk is doing anything, the site doesn't say so. A show this good, you see it again.

Sunday, you haul up to Palm Beach 3, partly as a remedy to Art Miami.

Monday, you chill out and thank heaven that you're not going to show up on Cornelia Carey's blog. Not this hurricane season, anyway. Maybe next.

I wish. I was just concentrating on the Wynwood openings. Ambrosino opened up a decent looking show last week, MAC's still running Kentridge and will through March. Dorsch is linked above, and, hey, you can be an expert on all this too!
