In Which Young Madeline Has a Question

My latest at The Federalist begs to differ with the Communist Party USA about the role of individual rights under socialism.

It's worth clicking through at the link in the article on "Bill of Rights socialism" to this gem:

Socialism in the United States would be built on the strong foundation of our Constitution’s Bill of Rights. This includes making the promises of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and equality for all real.

The author never gets around to explaining you build a collectivist system on individualist princiciples. I guess we'll have to wonder about that, in addition to why Dr. Hiley at CPUSA so mischaractizes FIRE.

The pomofascist sees himself as the embodiment of good and worthy causes. The less everyone else supports those causes, the less human they are, and therefore deserving fewer rights and less entitlement to their own views. Lying to them or about them is of no consequence.

Oh, right.
