I reviwed Pretty Raw: After and Around Helen Frankenthaler for The Arts Fuse. The above Hartigan is in the show.

Tonight I will be giving a lecture about Control Lines, an idea described in my anatomy book, at the Boston Center for Figurative Art. Spots are still open and it would be delightful to see you there—come and draw.

Tomorrow night I'll be giving what has come to be known as The Banana Talk in a presentation hosted by Somerville Open Studios on the tricky problem of how to price artwork.
