It's the pre-Basel idiocy onslaught! Go See Art needs major patching up, I'm hammering together a website (announcement tomorrow), I just wrote a letter of comment to the Miami Herald, I'm making appointments for Wednesday, I have to drop off paintings to two shows, pick up cards for GSA and Artblog.net, and a week from Saturday, I'm leaving to Taiwan. Heaven preserve me!
Kathleen reminds me that Miami Art Central, to my surprise, is featuring an artist that would actually make me feel like going down there: William Kentridge. Tonight, he'll be having a conversation with Arthur Danto at the Cosford Theater at UM. She's got the details. I gotta go.

so as a graphic designer heading off to an opening for art basel on wednesday...
any warnings? anywhere or anyone particular to schmooz with or avoid?
I'm looking for some inspiration here and there and hoping to be a part of something new... cheesy i know.
