leonardo's studio

Post #468 • February 2, 2005, 3:23 PM • 4 Comments

Slightly old news, but I just heard about this - they may have found Leonardo's studio. Imagine standing, more or less, at ground zero of the Renaissance. Wow.

This is strange and fascinating, of course, but it really needs pictures & diagrams to make it clear. Are there any? Maybe I can google it & see.

Hi OldPro and Franklin: I keep thinking Leonardo's studio is too good to be true, but then again the frescoes are supurb from the photos. I wish they would leave out the cadavor part, though, and stop calling him da Vinci. In any event, it may well be Ghirlandaio's studio or Bottecelli's studio, and that's no small potatoes either.
