Images from the opening at Dorsch this past Saturday. No comments from me yet - I'm writing about it for Street next week.

Steve Peters, Here-ings. Each speaker played a sound recorded at a desert location in the foothills of New Mexico - wind blowing through cacti, ants burrowing. (As soon as Brook gets me an MP3 I'll post it.)

Maria Jose Arjona, untitled drawings for an upcoming performance piece.

Kyle Towbridge, He Wore Gloves to Hide the Holes in His Hands, installation view.

I enjoyed the Arjona piece. It reminded me of sounds I never heard.
